The PGA Tour has officially decided on Phil Mickelson, The PGA Tour is reportedly extending its ban on LIV golfers,

saying in a memo that those who choose to jump to the Saudi-backed league "cannot and will not be reinstated."

In a letter sent to Phil Mickelson and others via golf writer Bob Harig: The Tour cannot enter into a membership agreement with a player if,

as here, it reasonably expects that the player will not fulfil its material obligations under the agreement.

According to PGA Tour  membership cannot and will not be renewed for the 2022-2023 PGA Tour season.

All this comes as PGA players and LIV members go head-to-head in the BMW PGA Championship hosted by the DP World Tour.

PGA stars like Rory McIlroy have noted how much they oppose what LIV is doing. I said the other day,

"I hate what it's doing to golf. I hate it. I really do. Like it's hard for me to go to Wentworth in a couple of weeks and see 18 of them there." It just doesn't sit well with me."
