James is a four-time NBA champion who also played for the Miami Heat and Cleveland Cavaliers

On August 4, LeBron James officially became eligible to sign a contract extension with the Los Angeles Lakers.

James just completed his fourth season in Los Angeles, averaging 30.3 points, 8.2 rebounds and 6.2 assists per game.

Even at 37, he is one of the few true superstars in the NBA. James is expected to sign a 1+1 deal with the Lakers at some point.
