Dustin Johnson makes the last putt, leads 4Aces to win $16 million LIV Golf Team Championship in Miami
Four teams were left standing in Sunday's final round of the LIV Golf Team Championship, and it was Dustin Johnson's 4Aces GC that came out on top.
Louis Oosthuizen's Stinger GC was out of action for most of the day, leaving the battle for the top three 4Aces to Cameron Smith's Punch
The 4Aces led by one shot with one hole to play before Punch's Marc Leishman tied the 4Aces at 6 under with a late birdie,
just his second of the day. Patrick Reed then birdied his final hole to retake the lead at 7 under and eventually claim victory.
“Hell yeah, I knew where I was,” Johnson said of the late lap situation. "I was watching (Reed) make his putt. I was like, 'Okay, I just got two putts.
I played with Cam. He hit it 10 feet for par. He did everything, that he looked at, so I knew he was doing it. I'm like, 'I've got to put on two heels.'"
It's straight from three feet. But because it was a team aspect and I knew the whole team – like I had to do it for the team to win – I didn't really like it.
