Arizona Cardinals defender Jeff Gladney dies in a crash

Jeff Gladney, who was defending the NFL's Arizona Cardinals, died Monday in a car accident in Dallas. He was 25 years old.

Jeff Gladney's death was confirmed by the Cardinals and his agent. "We are saddened to hear of the passing of Jeff Gladney. Our hearts go out to her family, friends and all those who mourned over this tragic event, ”said the team.

The accident happened on a working road on the Woodall Rodgers Freeway in Dallas, KTVT-TV reported. Another died.

The Dallas County Sheriff's Office said no one was available for the Memorial Day holiday to comment on the accident.

Gladney played at TCU before becoming the player selected for the first 2020 round of Minnesota Vikings. He played 16 games that year but was released before the 2021 season

Gladney was acquitted in Dallas County, Texas, in March and signed by the Cardinals. She participated in the group tests last week.

"We ask for family prayers and confidentiality during this difficult time," said agent Brian Overstreet. The NFL said Gladney's death was "a tragic loss."
