Scott Stallings spends $ 400 to get back on scrap metal, raises John Deere's top board

Playing with a loaf of bread and butter, Scott Stallings dived into his bag and sent his old friends.

Ahead of last week's competition, Stallings had a friend go to his house to hunt for old irons that he hoped would cure him.

His friend wanted to make sure he sent the right set, so he slept on three sets of instruments and went to Stallings for $ 400.

One of the sets is what Stallings wanted. After one round, Stallings regained his former loyalty, the set of Titleist T100s replacing a new set of the same type.
