How to add apps to Apple Watch
One of the benefits of a great Apple Watch is seamless communication with your iPhone. This means that once you set it up, any apps from your phone that are compatible with the Apple Watch will immediately appear on the device. This includes banking apps, weather apps, smart home control, and more.
This also includes standard Apple apps like Podcasts and Music, as well as Apple Watch-specific apps that load (or can be downloaded from the Health app) like EKG and blood oxygen, heart rate, and exercise. However, you can add other applications to the watch directly from the Apple Watch App Store itself, which you may not have on your phone.
How to add apps to Apple Watch from Watch
Press the digital crown on the side of the watch (usually at the top right, but some lefties may prefer it at the bottom left).
Could you scroll down to App Store and select it?
The first time you access it, you will see a welcome message. Read it, scroll down, and tap Continue.
The Apple Watch Starter Kit list will appear with recommended apps to download. Choose from this list or enter the app you’re looking for in the search box.
You can also scroll down to browse more highlighted and popular app options. Some apps are free, while others have a price that will be charged to your Apple account.
After choosing the desired app, select Get or Purchase.
To install the app, double tap the side button.
You’ll see processing and the download will either take place, or you’ll be prompted to enter your Apple ID password to authorize the transaction (even if the app is free, as most have in-app purchase options).
Enter your password using the tiny keyboard and tap Done.
You will see the app loading. Once complete, it will be accessible from the Watch menu, or you can open it right away by selecting Open.
How to Install Applications from iPhone to Apple Watch
Open the Watch app on your iPhone.
From the bottom menu, choose the My Watch tab.
Scroll down the list of apps that are on your phone.
The app you want to install to your Apple Watch should be selected.
Click Install
To install Face ID, click the side button twice (or enter your Apple ID password when prompted.)
Your Apple Watch will now display the app.
Note that not all apps you use on your phone will be compatible with the Apple Watch, including the top-of-the-line Apple Watch Ultra. However, purchased apps will work on Apple Watch without you having to pay for them again (unless you download a different version from the Apple Watch app store.)
Downloading apps to your Apple Watch from your iPhone only works with apps that also exist on the phone itself. You must follow the first set of instructions to download an app made exclusively for the Apple Watch from the Watch.
Once your Apple Watch is loaded with your favorite apps, you can choose between grid view and list view to find the perfect look for you.

The Apple Watch SE 2 lacks some non-essential features available on higher-end models, such as the Always-On display, fast charging, and ECG. Yet, it’s still the ideal wearable for people on a tight budget.
Apple Watch Ultra
The Apple Watch Ultra is the highest-end smartwatch that Apple makes. They’re not for everyone, but if you spend a lot of time outdoors, are a serious athlete, or just want maximum protection, this is a watch you should try.
