Dogs Are Top Stress Reducers

Depression-related illnesses are at an all-time high in the United States, and there is no sign that they will decrease. For the most part, doctors have found the underlying cause of this to be our “seriousness”. So they say take it too seriously, thus causing so much stress that any reasonable stress management is impossible. When things are beyond our control, we should leave the ball; it is not easy for those who do not give up. Unhealthy stress levels show up such as mood swings, migraines, hair loss, anxiety, anxiety, insomnia, weight gain, and severe levels; disappointment.
Pressure contributes to half of all diseases in the U.S. Also 70% of all visits to the doctor’s office. But before you see your doctor ask if Valium is right for you – let’s consider some natural options. Laughter is a cure for depression. When we laugh, blood flow to the brain increases and endorphins (the hormone that gives us a sense of well-being) are released and blood pressure levels drop dramatically. We can begin this healing by laughing at ourselves, the complete imperfection that builds us all up.
Force yourself to be more friendly because under pressure our emotions tell us to withdraw and isolate ourselves. Nothing could be worse than what pressure experts say. Isolation allows us to focus on our problems, which furthers negative thinking – instead of solving them, we strengthen them. When you feel pressured to the max, call a friend or put yourself among the kids; they have a way of making anyone forget his worries. The work of volunteers is good pressure.
Lack of self-confidence can intensify depression, so we need to learn to be more confident. Some may associate rudeness with hostility or anger, but it simply means expressing your feelings, letting others know your thoughts, and acting on your own. Some of the things we can get used to are: talk when you see fit… start conversations… make an effort to find and build new friendships. Don’t be afraid to disagree. Give and receive – recommendations. Ask for details. When trying to break the cycle of insomnia, avoid alcohol, caffeine, and tobacco – all of which have negative effects on sleep. Do something calm before bed; warm baths, soft music, scented candles. Speak well of yourself and pat yourself on the back from time to time to do a job well done.
Then reward yourself because if you do that you will see a rise in your body that can last for a few days. This can be a shoe or as simple as an ice cream bowl (or both)! Slowing down almost everything in your life is another way to relieve stress. Holistic studies have taught me to stop running when the phone rings – why did I always do that? Now I focus on driving a little, pausing after parking the car in the garage just to relax as I get into another shift. I don’t rush my food but I chew slowly and with all this, you feel the pressure go away. Also, make a list of those concerns that are of concern to you.
Make two columns on a piece of paper: one for “Concerns I can do something about” and the other for “Concerns I can’t do anything about”. Reading this from your notes offers some greatness and you can begin to embrace the ones you can’t change and find solutions for those you can’t. One medical study of 480 people under stressful conditions found that “… high levels of stress for dogs”. People who were in intolerable conditions had significantly lower heart rate and blood pressure when traveling with their dogs – much lower than those who had spouses. Possible cause: Dogs are considered completely non-judgmental.
